Four custom systems that took manual work out of the operation

An industrial operation driven by engineering: a lean team, dense technical processes and tight deadlines. Day to day, much of the effort went into manual, repetitive tasks — quoting, data entry, checking, detailing — taking time away from the people who should be designing and producing.
The operation depended on manual work on several fronts: quotes built part by part, data re-entered from one department to the next, outsourced services tracked in spreadsheets and drawing details redone by hand. Time lost and risk of error at every step, with no single reliable source of truth.
We built a set of custom systems, one for each front that was holding the operation back, with the business rules built in and integrated with the ERP. Each one eliminated a specific manual task — and together they now run on a single source of data, end to end and auditable.
Commercial proposal generator
Builds the complete technical and financial proposal in minutes: gathers the equipment descriptions, recalculates taxes, commission and margin and sets the payment schedule — output straight to a document (DOCX) and an Excel report. Ends the hours of manual copying and the risk of error on every quote.
Third-party service tracking
Tracks contractors' hours and activities: clock-in and clock-out per shift, with automatic overtime calculation by weekday, and Excel reports ready for billing. Replaces the manual spreadsheet and makes every billed hour traceable.
CRM integrated with the ERP
Centralizes customer relationships integrated with the Prosyst ERP: opportunities in a pipeline, parts and quotes looked up and created directly in the ERP — live catalog and pricing, with no retyping between sales and production. Every decision is recorded, from first contact to approved quote.
SolidWorks add-in
Add-in that automates the engineering workflow: batch export of drawings (PDF/DWG) and sheet-metal DXF, file standardization (Pack and Go), property filling and generation of the bill of materials (BOM) ready for the Prosyst ERP.
- Four applications in real production, integrated into the operation
- Manual work eliminated, with a single source of data across departments
- Auditable processes, from quote to shop floor
